Tuning coordinators receive EAIE Bo Gregersen Award
On 14 September Julia González and Robert Wagenaar, received the Bo Gregersen Award for Best Practice at the opening plenary session of annual EAIE Conference in Copenhagen. The Bo Gregersen Award is awarded for an innovative contribution to international education. As initiators of the projects Tuning Educational Structures in Europe I- IV (2000-2009) they met the following requirements of the Bo Gregersen Award:
- Have developed and implemented an innovative project, system, programme or procedure that improves international education;
- Have produced results that can be measured;
- Have documented the innovation so that it can be adopted and implemented by others.
The Tuning methodology and tools, originally designed to implement the Bologna Process at the level of Higher Education Institutions in Europe, are at present being used in Higher Education all over the world.
